IV. SCHEDULING OF TESTS
The Gateway tests will be given on dates determined by the state Department of Education. There will one administration date for each subject as well as one make-up date. Regular dates will include fall, spring, and summer. The End-of-Course tests will be scheduled by the school and the local Testing Coordinator to be within the last ten instructional days of the semester.
V. SCORING OF GATEWAY/END-OF-COURSE TESTS
Once the tests are taken, the TC (Testing Coordinator) and a school designee will transport the tests to the Remote Scanning Site (6 across the state; ours is Johnson City). This appointment must be scheduled a week ahead of time. It is imperative that the school’s site coordinator has the test sheets in PERFECT order before scanning. The school will receive a QSR (Quick Score Report) within two days for all students containing the raw score and the “Met/Not Met” requirement for 9th graders. The teacher can then use the Scaled Score charts and provide the 15% grade.
