Tennessee School Improvement Planning Process
TSIPP
Since 1995, Tennessee schools have been involved in school improvement planning through the Tennessee School Improvement Planning Process (TSIPP). The purpose of these plans is to ensure current data and analyses are being used for determining goals and action steps to address the challenges identified by the new student performance data each year.
Elementary schools and secondary schools submit plans for state review on alternating years. Schools of focus for the 2008-2009 school year is Johnson County Middle School and Johnson County High School.
