Special Education


The Johnson County Schools Special Education Department offers classroom, home, hospital, institutional and administrative services needed to meet the needs of the children with disabilities; transportation of such children with disabilities who are unable to use public transportation; corrective and supporting services including diagnostic and evaluation services as approved by the Division of Special Education and authorized the State Board of Education to assist children with disabilities in taking advantage of or responding to educational programs and opportunities.
